Check inspection reports before going. Sadly ive heard some bad reports from local business.
I eat there whenever I'm in Kerrville. Not the best Chinese I've ever had, but never a bad experience. Large assortment of salad, soup, meats, traditional Chinese and desserts.
My wife and I go to eat here at least twice a week. The food is great, there really is not anything bad about it. Every time we go, they always know what we want to drink and the waiters are very nice and respectful. As far as the decor goes, we actually think it is pretty fancy.
This place absolutely sucks. The last 3 times i have been here the service is bad and they're not busy. The food is not the best, bland and dry. And is cold.
I had straight fire coming out of both ends before I could finish my meal. Biting into the fried chicken was just like biting into a crusty shell filled with oil.The food feels like literal slime moving down your throat. I had to chug about 6 cups of Mountain Dew throughout my meal just to choke down the crap they care to call "food".Never eat there. Never. Bamboo garden: not even once.
Food is generic Asian food but the gentleman that waits on us thank you. When I am here I am here with a gaggle of boys in care who don't always do well. He has treated us amazingly with great service and time for my boys.
Nice Remodel....great food
It is fine. My family just thought all the flavors were just different. It wasn't that it was bad just nothing tasted as we expected.
Awful place, guy behind counter was extremely rude. Food was cold
food was horrible, almost puked it up before leaving it was so horrible. managers are rude as hell, went to ask for a refund and got told to leave. DO NOT EAT HERE!
The food was good. Not the best. The waitress was amazing. The owner was playing XBox. I was not impressed by that. They need to be more professional the games can wait til you get home..
It is usually pretty good, but sometimes there lacking in effort or something.
Tasty food, wide variety. My favorite is the cold shrimp and cocktail sauce.
If the prepared food is not maintained at the correct temperature, it will spoil. If it spoils and you eat it, you will get sick. Why did I get sick? Could it be that the sweet and sour chicken and the crab leg meat is not maintained at a hot enough temperature? The rest of the food was good, a wide variety. Our table clearer was very attentive.
I love you damboo Asian buffet
It's all buffet and if you get there early the food is good
Food was ok. This ain’t a expensive fancy place idk why people give it reviews like it was one. It’s a buffet not the best I ever been to but it’s ok. Have a large verity of food. Staff is not the nicest but it’s a buffet you don’t have to deal with them
Was eating lunch when a roach climbed up on my plate... disgusted I tried to speak to owner who simply smiled and nodded off my complaint. NOT EVER GOING TO EAT THERE AGAIN!!!
Terrible service, terrible food.
I loved it i went teice in a row very nice people
Price was right, food was decent. Was passing by Kerrville on the way back to San Antonio and decided to stop into this place for dinner. Dinner prices were very reasonable, and the food selection was pretty good. It was a weeknight and the dinner crowd was pretty small. Some of the items had decent flavor, while other items were a bit bland. Some items were also a bit cool temperature wise. This might have been due to the small dinner crowd.I did find enough to eat that was satisfactory, and felt I got my moneys worth. I'd be willing to give the place another shot on a weekend next time. The experience wasn't bad for a small town buffet.
Food is ok. Staff very nice
Food was pretty cold and I had to add salt to my food. And the roaches are not tamed. They got loose and visited my table and crawled on my moms spoon.
Expensive way to lose weight. Food was old, not changed out and both me and my wife had issues afterwards. If you can get it when the food is fresh, at peak times you are probably alright but if its been a few hours since lunch rush started... beware. For the price though its better to go elsewhere.
We have been coming here for years and when they first open it was great. Food was made fresh daily. But like most places it is going down hill. We keep giving them a chance and keep regretting eating here. I have watch the cooks replace the food with new on top of the old. This is cross contamination of food. This can make you very sick. I think it is time to stop eating here.
Really tasty food. Prices are very affordable. Sushi available every day now.
Went at lunch time. It was nice and quiet, service was good, food was pretty good.
It is decent food, like any other buffet. If you want decent Asian food that is not to pricey, then this is your bet.
My family and I came in 15 minutes before they started charging for dinner. As soon as we walked in the older host at the front walked to the kitchen. She returned ten minutes later saying we just walked in, and we would be paying dinner price. I said "that's fine", and paid. The food looked as if it had been sitting out for a while, we recieved no refills, and from the moment we made our first plate the same lady kept asking us if we were finished. They did not change.
Good buffet with plenty of selections, both asian and american choices.
It's a buffet! People were very nice. It was a very warm in there.
If you want standard Asian cuisine found in the US, this is the place to go! Would actually give this restaurant a 3.5 if given the option. The interor was clean and the food was pretty hot. A nice variety and mix of flavors overall.
The (blond hispanic) server did an excellent job. However, the desserts were stale, the clams were bad (as in expired) and their food was not fresh at all. They charged us 37.something for three people. I would recommended going somewhere else for that price. .
Stay far far away from this establishment! Food was cold and tasted bad. Dishes were dirty, then the roach crawling on my sooon sent me running out. Be warned when someone charges before you eat at a buffet. GROSS!!
I was taught "If you can't something nice, don't say anything".
Don't eat here! Food smells like trash, roaches crawling on our forks when we came back with our food, tea is sour and it cost way too much to eat rotten, but infested food. Go some where else, anywhere else!!!
Closed Permanently from what I understand. It used to be great but eventually became a health hazard.
Worst Chinese buffet in Texas, please don't waste your money or your time
Everytime i go here i end up getting sick. Have not returned since my last experience
Food was good but not hot.
Friend and I heard it was open again under new management. October 3, 2018 we decided to try it. Same management. Food was bad. Soup was watery, chicken dishes tasted the same. Bad experience. Young couple with children killed a roach on their table. Won't go back.
Other then the waitress crossing over the table everything was good!
this place its awsome the food is out of this world and the service and price is perfect
I have tried this place 4 times and each time it was worse than before over a course of a year. Cheaply made with a lot of short cuts. Spring rolls mainly just dough, a very thin line of filling. Sweet n sour sauce so watered down taste like sugar water. It's the worst place in Kerrville to get Chinese food even if it is the only buffet in town. No wonder they make you pay before you get to see the buffet.
I understand the reviews on service, our waitress was an unhappy person, btw the food was the best I've had in Texas so far. The food had so much flavor and it was hot and fresh. We were afraid to try this place due to reviews, but man the food is awesome.
I eat here often but I am not picky. If you are, you won't like it. If you don't come during peak times the food will have been sitting out. If you visit shortly before they close, be prepared for them to not refill some of the items as they run out. We came at seven thirty on a Sunday evening (fully an hour and a half before they closed) and they were out of egg drop soup, lomein noodles, sushi and more. Half of the chandelier is out, the wall paper is pealing and the seats are not in the best shape. My advice, go to China Town.
Food was okay, the waitresses were friendly but the manager (chubby male) is very rude. I went there with my family, walked into the restaurant, waited to be seated, Then the manager came rushing over speaking very too loud and rude saying "You have to pay first!", treating us like dirt bags trying to pull a fast one. There was no sign up front instructing guests to pay first. I really only paid out of embarrassment and shock; I should have told him off and left. I will never step foot in that restaurant again.
Visited Jan 13th Sunday, mid-afternoon. Was skeptical after reading negative reviews; however, was to find everything as it should be. The buffet reflects most of items normally seen in Asian buffets. If items were low, they were were promptly refilled with fresh food from their kitchen. Staff kept everything fresh, counters clean too. Chicken wings were juicy, tasty. Cold shelled Shrimp was plentiful, fresh, tasteful. Other cooked items were fresh, tasteful. Had absolutely observed no issues. Floor was clean, finished tables promptly had dishes removed and wiped. Would recommend this buffet to others!
Not bad, not great middle of road as far as Asian buffets go, food is fresh,
Excellent selection of Southeast Asian Delicacies. Good food at a good price.
Absolutely disgusting place to eat. Never go here!! Guy up front very rude and then I find a ROACH in my food!!!Our money was refunded but the guy up front acted it was no big deal.
